Happy 4th of July

It's the fourth of July...and today we celebrate the day our founders signed the Declaration of Independence. Because of their insistence in doing what they considered right, this nation was founded on the belief that a "all men are created equal" and "endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights". Those rights of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" were and still are worth fighting for. Many in this country today disagree about what constitutes a right, because there are people on the opposite side screaming that whatever "it" is, is wrong. I'm not about to go into a long discussion on right and wrong, but I will say that there is right and wrong, that there is absolute truth which is applicable to all men at all times in all places.

Enough of my musings. Let me just say Happy Independence Day - enjoy it, support it, and fight for it when necessary.
